Muay Thai Tournament in Dnipro 2025
From March 6 to 9, 2025, the city of Dnipro hosted an open Muay Thai tournament named «Dniprovskaya Zirka».
This year's event was dedicated to the defenders of Ukraine.
A total of 160 athletes from Odesa, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Berdychiv, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Kharkiv, and clubs from the Dnipropetrovsk region participated in the competition for prizes.
The greatest motivation for each fighter was the opportunity to compete in the Ukrainian championship in April and the chance to join the national team.
Odesa athletes from the Odesa Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 7 won 14 gold, 5 silver, and 2 bronze medals.
The winners included: Nikita Kuts, Bohdan Studnev, Kyrylo Berezovskyi, Volodymyr Trufkaky, Yelyzaveta Velykova, Diana Savotina, Oleksandr Andriushchenko, Ivan Rasputnyi, Vladyslav Postnov, Tymur Katerynchak, Oleksandr Zabara, Mark Yushchuk, Pavlo Balabko, and Yelysei Shaienko.
Silver medals were awarded to: Dmytro Zanin, Kira Laryonova, Mykhailo Honcharuk, Ruslan Kravchenko, and Sviatoslav Shaienko.
Bronze medals went to Tymur Ostrovskyi and Myroslav Yakush.
The athletes were trained by coaches: Volodymyr Pishenin, Liliia Shapoval, Mykhailo Mitaki, and Mykhailo Kovalchuk.
The tournament was organized by the Dnipro City Muay Thai Federation in collaboration with the 25th Separate Airborne Assault Sicheslav Brigade.
