Visit of the Ambassador of the Odessa Golf Club to Odessa
Last week, Mr. Ozgur Tonguc Chuhali, Ambassador of the Odessa Golf Club in Turkey, visited Odessa. He previously lived and worked in Odessa for many years, representing the Association of Ukrainian and Turkish Entrepreneurs and participating in the renovation of the Odessa Specialized Psychoneurological Children's Home 'Sunshine'.
During this year's visit, the Ambassador toured the 'Sunshine' children's home, where he interacted with the children and medical staff, as well as the library № 21 of the Centralized Library System for Children, where he participated in a golf workshop.
As noted by Hanna Lunova, acting head of the Department of Mother and Child Protection of the Health Department, Mr. Ozgur Tonguc Chuhali assured that further collaboration and sponsorship from the sister city of Istanbul would continue.
On February 17, at the library-branch №21 for students of Lyceum №81, the Odessa Golf Club hosted a workshop led by Mr. Ozgur Tonguc Chuhali. The children learned golf techniques, hit their first balls, and received prizes.
Additionally, the Ambassador spoke about the activities of golf clubs in Turkey and children's programs in schools and libraries.
As part of the visit, cooperation between Bodrum and Odessa was planned to promote Olympic sports, particularly golf.
