International Acrobatic Championship in Chișinău
From October 24 to 27, 2024, the international acrobatic championship took place in Chișinău, Moldova.
During three days of competitions, 165 athletes from Chișinău, Tiraspol, Bender, Sucleia, Arziz, Odesa, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi showcased their skills, impressing the audience with the beauty and complexity of the sport.
Representing Odesa were the talented students of the Complex Children and Youth Sports School No. 3: Sofia Puzdrach, Alina Fesyk, and Anna Lutsker. They claimed first place in the candidate for master of sports program.
The athletes were trained by coaches Oksana Kopecka and Tamara Zahrebelyna.
In Odesa, 212 young athletes are engaged in acrobatic sports at youth sports schools.
