Conference on Innovations in Territorial Planning
The Deputy Mayor of Odessa, Oleksandr Filatov, welcomed participants of the V International Scientific and Practical Conference titled «Innovative Technologies in Territorial Planning».
The event took place from October 24 to 26 at the Odessa State Academy of Construction and Architecture.
In his opening remarks, Oleksandr Filatov noted that since the onset of armed aggression by the Russian Federation, the city faces urgent tasks related to the restoration of damaged and destroyed properties, many of which are historical landmarks.
«Equally important today is the planning of territories and the development of urban planning documentation for what they should look like after hostilities conclude. Scientific contributions are necessary that incorporate the experiences of professionals and the implementation of innovative technologies. I hope that the conference will produce materials that will aid in the further recovery of our city and country,» emphasized the Deputy Mayor.
The Odessa State Academy of Construction and Architecture organized the conference with support from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the State Service of Ukraine for Geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre, the Odessa City Council, and international partners.
