SEASIDE RUNNERS Winter Cup: New Victories in Odesa
On December 22, the first stage of the SEASIDE RUNNERS Winter Cup took place in Odesa, turning into a true celebration of sports.
152 athletes from different age categories participated in the races.
Among the youngest competitors (up to 6 years old) in the 60-meter race, Regina Kalchenko and Lev Kalchenko took the victory, while silver went to Nika Polishina and Valerii Isaiev, and bronze medals were awarded to Oliviia Lutskevych and David Horishok.
In the age group of 7-13 years, Valeriia Tsybulyschenko emerged victorious among girls in the 1 km distance, while Polina Tsybulyschenko claimed silver, and Viktoriia Vlasyuk finished third. Among boys in this distance, the winner was Klimentii Herasymchuk, with Andrii Zasnov second and Andrii Kyriakov third.
In the 5 km distance, Olga Moroz and Yevhen Yasinskyi took the top spots, with Elizabeth Sheremeta and Denys Poliakov being the silver medalists, and bronze going to Anya Novikova and Maksym Petrov.
In the 10 km distance, the fastest were Sofia Harmash and Serhii Saltevskyi, followed by Anna Osmykh and Yevhen Vavilov in second, and Olena Titova and Dmytro Bolotnyi in third.
In the longest distance of 25 km, the winners were Karine Hrygoryan and Maksym Kyriakov, with Julia Kyrynychanska and Viktor Lazaniuk taking silver, and Oksana Postolenko and Artur Zherebtsev receiving bronze.
In addition to the races, a festive program was organized for children.

The Winter Cup is a series of races designed to test physical fitness. Winners will be determined both for individual stages and based on the results of all stages. The event is organized by the public organization SEASIDE RUNNERS with the support of the Odesa City Council.
