Drone Attack Damages Odessa Lyceum No. 125
During a recent massive drone attack, Odessa Lyceum No. 125, where around 500 students study and a kindergarten operates, incurred substantial damage.
A total of 120 windows (700 m²) were shattered across 30 classrooms, 30 doors were damaged, and heating and electrical systems were partially affected.
The ceilings in 30 classrooms were damaged, and 100 desks and 200 chairs were virtually destroyed. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
«Currently, restoration work on the heating system is ongoing. The kindergarten will resume operations on Monday, November 11. Students will engage in remote learning for the week, and by November 18, they will return to classes in two shifts in the part of the school that suffered less damage. The restoration of the most affected part of the building is expected to be completed by January», - stated Elena Buinevich, the director of the city’s Department of Education and Science.
