Artistic Initiative for Military Support
During October and November 2024, the Communal Institution of Extracurricular Education «Odesa City Center for Choreographic Arts» hosted a charity artistic project called «Open Your Hands for Good» and a nationwide seminar-practicum on «Stylization of Ukrainian Folk Dance and Methodological Approaches to Teaching Modern Dance Forms in Choreographic Groups».
The event was organized in partnership with the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine and the Odesa Regional Organization of the National Choreographic Union.
Funds raised from ticket sales for the «Open Your Hands for Good» concert were allocated for purchasing essential equipment and materials for military personnel undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in medical facilities in Odesa.
The seminar program included master classes from leading experts in choreography, demonstration lessons, and discussions on relevant issues of teaching modern dance in children's choreographic groups.
All participants in the seminar received certificates of professional development.
