Free Access to Google Tools for Ukrainian Students
Starting from October 8, students in Ukraine can access Google AI Pro tools for free for one year.
This was announced by Mykhailo Fedorov, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, via Telegram.
“Students need modern tools to learn more effectively and develop their skills. From today, Google offers a free annual subscription to its Google AI Pro toolset for students aged 18 and older,” the message stated.
As a result, students from Ukrainian universities gain access to the following services:
- Gemini 2.5 Pro – a chat for assistance with studying and challenging topics. Users can upload photos and receive explanations in real-time;
- Deep Research – a tool that independently analyzes numerous sources and generates structured reports. It saves hours of preparation for coursework or essays;
- NotebookLM – a personal assistant for organizing knowledge and notes, now with enhanced audio and video analysis capabilities;
- Veo 3 – converts text or photos into 8-second videos with sound;
- Jules – an AI assistant for programming. It helps in writing, testing, and improving code;
- 2 TB of cloud storage – ample space for all notes, documents, and projects.
To participate in the program, registration on the website is required.
We remind you that the Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced a new phase of cooperation with Google – utilizing the company's AI technologies for the development of state AI products in Ukraine.
