Taekwondo Championship in Ukraine 2025
The Taekwondo (WTF) championship of Ukraine took place in Lviv from August 21 to 23, 2025, featuring junior and sports school categories.
More than 200 athletes participated from 19 regions of Ukraine, showcasing impressive competition.
Athletes from Odesa region, representing the Complex Children's and Youth Sports School No. 17, achieved remarkable results:
Sports Schools:
Danyil Modnov – 1st place, 51 kg (juniors);
Kyril Pavlyuchenko – 3rd place, 68 kg (juniors);
Matviy Lukashuk – 3rd place, 73 kg (juniors);
Ulyana Protsenko – 2nd place, 55 kg (juniors);
Lina Yeremenko – 3rd place, 59 kg (juniors);
Denys Sevastyanyov – 3rd place, 30 kg (youngsters).
Juniors:
Anastasia Volosenko - 1st place - 46 kg;
Danylo Komarov - 1st place, 45 kg;
Matviy Lukashuk – 1st place, 68 kg;
Zlatoslava Volosenko - 2nd place, 49 kg;
Danyil Modnov - 3rd place - 51 kg.
The athletes were prepared by experienced coaches Viktor Semanyuk and Yuliya Podolyans.
In the taekwondo (WTF) department of Complex Children's and Youth Sports School No. 17, there are 133 young athletes training.
