Outstanding Performance of Odesa Team at Aquathlon Championship
The athletes from Odesa made a significant impact at the summer aquathlon championship held from August 1 to 3 in Cherkasy.
The competition featured:
- 32 competitors (8 girls and 24 boys)
- 3 coaches: Ivan Krychkin (head coach), Nina Bazhanova, Serhiy Demchuk
The team consisted of students from FC "Forma" and SC "Sports Academy".
Individual achievements — dozens of victories!
On the first day of the competition, the Odesa athletes secured numerous awards in two categories:
- Ukraine Championship
- Children's Triathlon League
1st place in both categories:
- Yakov Dondov
- Alisa Bohdanova
- Myron Istomin
Additional medalists and finalists:
- Milan Cherdintseva — 1st place (CTL), 4th place (UC)
- Oleksandra Poddubna — 1st place (CTL), 2nd place (UC)
- Dominik Panteleev — 2nd place in both categories
- Lev Konovalov — 3rd place in both categories.
- Margaryta Sviatokum, Platon Alekseev — 1st place (CTL), 3rd place (UC)
- Adel Shmanova, Valeriya Lukyanenko, Mykola Domoshchey, Oleksandr Hladyshev — in the TOP-10
Mixed relays!
On the second day, the Odesa team excelled in mixed relays (1 boy + 1 girl per team):
Age category "C" (2014-2017):
- Gold — Margaryta Sviatokum + Dominik Panteleev
- Silver — Alisa Bohdanova + Myron Istomin
- Bronze — Platon Alekseev + Anna-Maria Kobilyanska
- Age category "B" (2012-2013):
- Gold — Tymofiy Vikulov + Oleksandra Poddubna
- Age category "A" (2008-2009):
- Bronze — Mykola Domoshchey + Adel Shmanova
- 6th place — Oleksandr Hladyshev + Valeriya Lukyanenko
