Odessa Region Ranks High in University Applications 2025
The Odessa region is among the leaders in university applications!
According to recent data, the Odessa region secured 3rd place among Ukrainian regions for the number of applications submitted for undergraduate and medical master's programs.
The highest number of applications came from:
- Kyiv — 207,356
- Lviv region — 110,502
- Odessa region — 52,426
- Kharkiv region — 50,291
This indicates the strong motivation and determination of our applicants to continue their education despite the challenges of wartime and threats to our region, as well as the popularity of Odessa's universities.
It is important to note that the admission campaign will not end on August 1 but will continue until October 20, along with the opportunity for additional enrollment on a contract basis, so the numbers for 2025 will likely increase.
The top 10 most popular majors in Ukraine this year, which received the highest number of applications, include:
- Management
- Psychology
- Philology
- Law
- Marketing
- Economics and International Economic Relations
- Computer Science
- Secondary Education
- Software Engineering
- Medicine
