Annual Literary Competition in Odesa: A Call for Submissions
The Centralized Library System for adults in Odesa is now accepting entries for its annual literary competition honoring K.G. Paustovsky.
The submission deadline is May 20, 2025.
The competition will be held in the following categories:
- «Prose»;
- «Poetry»;
- «Promotion of K.G. Paustovsky’s Works»;
- «Local History»;
- «Maritime Studies».
Entries should promote universal moral values, personal development, and love for the homeland.
Only works published as standalone editions or in collections in the current or previous years will be accepted.
Nominations for the «Promotion of K.G. Paustovsky’s Works» category can be submitted by cultural, educational, and scientific organizations.
The «Maritime Studies» category is open to writers, artists, and organizers of socio-cultural projects related to the sea.
Each participant may submit only one entry in one category.
No participant may win more than once in each category.
The results of the competition will be announced by May 25, 2025.
The award ceremony is scheduled for May 31, 2025.
