Conference: "Odessa - An Accessible Destination"
On December 5, 2024, Odessa will host the conference «Odessa - An Accessible Destination».
The goal of the conference is to unite the efforts of local authorities and businesses to enhance accessibility in the hospitality and tourism sectors.
This topic has been identified by the National Tourism Organization of Ukraine as a key priority for 2024. Despite the challenges of wartime, Odessa continues to welcome both domestic and international tourists, making the accessibility of infrastructure essential.
Special guest of the forum will be Oleksandr Budko, a Ukrainian who lost both limbs during military actions but continues to be active in advocating for veteran support. He is also a medalist in the «Invictus Games - 2023» and the author of an autobiographical novel.
Representatives from hotels, restaurants, museums, theaters, medical facilities, tour guides, and anyone interested in fostering an inclusive environment are invited to participate.
