Serhiy Basok's Art Exhibition in Odesa
The Odesa Regional Universal Scientific Library named after M. S. Hrushevsky is hosting a personal exhibition by Serhiy Basok — a talented artist from the Odesa Academic Musical Comedy Theatre.
Titled "Colors of Ukraine", the exhibition features landscape paintings from various regions that Serhiy has visited:
"You can find Chernihiv, the Carpathians, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy region, and Khmelnytskyi. There’s even a study from Crimea created before 2013. And of course, Odesa. The Odesa region, with its northern areas where traditional houses sit under reeds. Budak is a wonderful place, with a lagoon on one side and the sea on the other, and a beautiful spit stretching out." — shared the artist.
The "Colors of Ukraine" exhibition offers a fresh perspective on familiar places and unveils new corners of our country through color and emotion, the organizers noted.
"I paint what inspires me, what I feel. The main thing is to have positivity in my heart so I can convey that through my art. If a painting resonates — it connects with the viewer. I put emotion into it, and the colors come alive on the canvas. That, in my opinion, is very important." — concluded Serhiy Basok.
