Ukrainian Veterans Embark on an Extreme Marathon in Greece
Today, May 5, 2025, a team of Ukrainian veterans has set off to sunny Greece to participate in an extreme marathon across the Aegean Sea.
The waves, the wind, and the breathtaking views of Olympus will be integral parts of their challenge, primarily aimed at proving something to themselves.
In Thessaloniki, the first international rowing club YAL Rowing is being inaugurated. This is not just a sport; it represents rehabilitation, motivation, and a return to life.
The Mayor of Odessa wished the veterans strength, resilience, and inspiration. Additionally, Gennady Trukhanov presented the veterans with the Odessa flag—may it wave alongside the Ukrainian flag, leading the team forward!
