Patriotic Sports Events Support Ukrainian Defenders in Odesa
In the Odesa region, sports events were held to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Dobroslav community served as a venue for two significant events that brought together residents, authorities, and military personnel in a common goal – supporting our defenders.
A charity run and bike race were organized in honor of the 11th Brigade named after Mykhailo Hrushevskyi of the National Guard of Ukraine. Over 150 participants, including children from Dobroslav, Vyzir, and Fontana communities, joined the event, showcasing their unity and desire for victory.
Meanwhile, the Open Cup of the Odesa Regional Organization of FST 'Spartak' in mini-football took place, featuring local councilors and staff from village and town councils.
In a series of tense matches, the 'Dynamo' team (Dobroslav) claimed first place, while the 'Real' team (Dobroslav) secured silver, and the bronze went to the Fontana team.
Both events became a true celebration for the community, evidencing the indomitable spirit of Ukrainians. Active participants included:
the soldiers of the 11th Brigade named after Mykhailo Hrushevskyi NGU,
acting deputy head of the department – head of the sports department of the Odesa Regional State Administration, Petro Polukhin,
acting head of the education, culture, tourism, youth, and sports department of the Dobroslav Village Council, Valerii Ivanchykov,
young coaches and trainees from the Odesa Regional Cheerleading Federation, who inspired everyone present.
The festive atmosphere was enhanced by the orchestra of the 11th Brigade named after Mykhailo Hrushevskyi of the National Guard of Ukraine.
These events were organized with the support of the Odesa Regional Administration, and co-organizers included the Regional Center for Physical Culture and Sports 'Sport for All', the Dobroslav Village Council, and the SDYUSHOR 'Kryzhynka' for figure skating.
Such events once again prove that together we are strong and invincible. Sports unite and inspire new achievements for a common goal!
