Honoring Citizens on Constitution Day

In celebration of Constitution Day on June 28, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree awarding several distinguished Ukrainians. The honorees come from various fields including culture, education, sports, medicine, and media.

The relevant decree was published on the president's official website on June 28.

Artem Pivovarov

The renowned Ukrainian singer has been awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. He shared his joy on social media, showcasing his award.

"A special day! I congratulate everyone on Constitution Day! Thank you, Mr. President, for this honor!" - he wrote.

Oleksandr Pedan

The television host and volunteer received the Order of Merit III degree, awarded for significant achievements in economic, socio-cultural, military, scientific, governmental, and other sectors.

Ruslan Tsygankov

A popular physics teacher who shares his teaching methods on TikTok also received the Order of Merit III degree. Tsygankov teaches at Kyiv's Lyceum No. 176 named after Miguel de Cervantes.

Olena Kryvytska

The Ukrainian fencer and European champion in 2025 in sabre competitions was awarded the Order of Princess Olga I degree. This award is given to women for their contributions to government, culture, charity, public service, and other fields.

Stepan Higa Jr.

The musician and composer, son of the legendary singer, received the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine. Stepan Jr. is a member of the creative union "Association of Variety Arts of Ukraine" and performs alongside his father.
