New Cargo Transport Management System Launches at Odesa Port

At the Odesa port, the implementation of an innovative cargo transport management system called DocPort has commenced, featuring specialists from the State Enterprise “AMPY” and the Odesa branch. This system enables drivers to pre-arrange passes, which can be conveniently received via messenger on any device with internet access.

The primary goal of DocPort is to reduce queues at the port entrance, minimize truck downtimes, stabilize traffic flow, and improve cargo processing efficiency. The system allows for the storage of data on cargo and fleets, preparation of entry documents, queue management, and rapid response to unexpected situations like vehicle breakdowns. Moreover, it reduces paper use and streamlines bureaucratic procedures during inspections.

Alexander Semyrha, Head of SE “AMPY”, stated: “In the context of war and high responsibility, we must ensure speed and maximum control over all logistics processes. DocPort enables us to minimize risks and improve service quality for all market participants. We are systematically scaling this solution across key seaports in Ukraine, with Odesa representing a crucial step, being one of the nation's most important logistics centers.”

DocPort operates through a “controlled entry” mechanism, where drivers wait in designated areas where they can activate their passes. This ensures that only vehicles ready to enter the territory receive active port passes. All information is stored in a unified database, meaning that driver and vehicle registration is only needed once for all connected ports.

The system has been fully developed by specialists from SE “AMPY” and is free for all market participants, while also open for other companies involved in cargo processing to connect.

“We are building an infrastructure that meets real challenges—military, economic, and logistical. The creation of digital tools like DocPort is an investment in the future competitiveness of Ukrainian ports, logistics efficiency, and process transparency,” emphasized Alexander Semyrha.
