Fire Hazard Alert in Ukraine

From April 29 to May 1, a state of emergency due to fire hazards is in effect across Ukraine, except for Crimea and the western regions.

This information is provided by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

During this period, there will be a significant risk of wildfires in both forests and fields. The highest danger is expected in the central, southern, and eastern regions, as well as in parts of the northern areas.

The emergency (fifth) level of fire hazard requires a complete ban on open flames in forests, fields, and near populated areas. Rescue services urge citizens to follow fire safety rules, avoid burning dry grass, and ensure that campfires are fully extinguished.
