Spy in Odessa Charged with Betraying Military Secrets
A spy has been arrested in Odessa for gathering intelligence on air defense and the storm brigade "Lut". He is accused of treason.
This was reported by the Odessa regional prosecutor's office.
Authorities have established that the accused willingly collaborated with a military intelligence officer from Russia, collecting current information about the locations of temporary bases of the united storm brigade of the National Police "Lut" and the deployment sites of mobile air defense fire groups in Odessa.
"The informant transmitted geographic coordinates via drafts in email accounts for the enemy to adjust missile strikes and drone attacks.
The Odessa resident was detained at the end of August 2024 while carrying out another task. He awaits trial in custody," the statement said.
