New Trams in Odesa: Enhancing Public Transportation
The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, announced the launch of new trams of the «Tatra» model:
«Starting tomorrow, new modern multi-section trams «Tatra» will begin service on route No. 3. We acquired them with funds from a loan from the European Investment Bank.
Eight new cars will operate from the 11th station of Lustdorf Road to the infectious disease hospital on Pasteur Street, with a 15-minute interval.
Once all repair works on the inclusive route "North-South" are completed, all 13 cars of this model will run on route No. 7.
Additionally, for passenger convenience, we have extended tram route No. 27. From now on, it will run from the Fish Port to the Old Market Square with a 7-minute interval.
Each step brings us closer to a convenient, modern, and comfortable city. We continue our work».
