Beware of Scammers Impersonating Ukrposhta!
There has been a rise in fraudulent activities in Ukraine, with scammers posing as representatives of «Ukrposhta».
This has been reported by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
Fraudulent actions posing as «Ukrposhta»
Users are receiving suspicious messages requesting them to update their delivery address via a provided link.
If you happen to receive such a notification, do not click on it!
«Under no circumstances should you click on such links or enter your personal data, as scammers can gain access to your information».
How to identify scammers: tips from «Ukrposhta»
«Ukrposhta» emphasized that they do not send messages from unknown numbers.
The company points out that any extra punctuation marks may indicate a scam.
«Any additional dashes, commas, periods, or extra letters suggest fraudulent activity. Moreover, we do not contact anyone from «unknown» numbers. Do not enter your banking details or share information with strangers», the warning states.
