Honoring the Heroism of F-16 Pilot
President Volodymyr Zelensky posthumously awarded F-16 pilot Pavlo Ivanov the title of Hero of Ukraine.

Quote: "For the courage and heroism displayed in defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and for dedicated service to the Ukrainian people, I decree:
To confer the title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the "Golden Star" Order to Ivanov Pavlo Ivanovych – Major (posthumously)."
Background: On Saturday, April 12, during a combat mission on an F-16, 26-year-old pilot Pavlo Ivanov tragically lost his life.
Zelensky noted that he received reports from military officials regarding this combat situation, and all circumstances surrounding the incident are being clarified.
