Illegal Logging Discovered in Ukraine: Over 350 Trees Cut Down
Government environmental inspectors have discovered illegal logging activities resulting in the cutting down of over 350 trees in the Cebrikivska community. According to the press service of the State Environmental Inspection, the damages exceed 500,000 hryvnias. The inspection is preparing materials to hand over to law enforcement for necessary actions under Article 246 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. “We urge communities to remain vigilant and report such incidents to the inspection's hotline,” the statement reads.
