Illegal Possession of Ammunition: Two Men Under Investigation
Two residents of the Podilskyi district are under investigation for illegal possession of ammunition. Law enforcement received tips about potentially dangerous items in their residences.
During court-sanctioned searches, items resembling grenades were discovered. Preliminary assessments by specialists indicate that these are hand grenades classified as ammunition. They have been sent for further examination.
«We have sufficient evidence to notify the suspects under part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine concerning illegal possession of ammunition. According to current legislation, the offenders face up to seven years of imprisonment. Throughout the investigation, which is supervised by the prosecution, we will determine the origins of the ammunition found and other details of the case», stated police chief Oleg Zhukovskyi.
