Innovative Energy Solutions for Podil Community
A new source of mobile emergency power has been introduced in the Podil community, featuring an innovative setup with a diesel generator, photovoltaic system, and batteries. This equipment will enhance the community's resilience during electricity outages.
This information was shared by the Odesa regional state administration.
In case of power outages or damage to the electrical grid, the mobile unit can quickly supply electricity to essential facilities.
The capacity of the unit supports up to 5,000 subscribers, enabling the operation of hospitals, schools, and other critical infrastructure during crises.
In the future, such units could be deployed throughout the Odesa region, creating a network of mobile energy solutions for communities.
“Energy security is becoming one of the key priorities. Odesa region, being a strategically important area, demonstrates how collective efforts can not only respond to current threats but also lay the groundwork for a sustainable future,” officials stated.
