Agricultural Meeting in Odesa: Exploring New Horizons

Yesterday, a significant meeting took place in Odesa, where the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, along with the Minister of Agrarian Policy, Vitaliy Koval, and the head of the State Fisheries Agency, Vladyslav Neveselyi, discussed pressing agricultural issues with local farmers. This was reported by the OVA press service.

The main topics of discussion included irrigation, which is crucial for the region, as well as livestock, agro-processing, and fisheries. Other important points included selection, the development of agricultural education, the construction of vegetable storage facilities, and the promotion of domestic winemaking. Additionally, a new irrigation system was launched in the Odesa district.

This irrigation system will provide watering over an area of more than 12,200 hectares. The total length of the main canals is 120 km, and the facility consists of 47 pumping stations. The delegation also visited several agro-industrial enterprises to learn about their production capacities and engage with the company employees.
