Tragedy on the Railway: Two Teenagers Electrocuted
Authorities in Odesa are investigating the circumstances surrounding the electrocution of two teenagers. One of them has died, while the other is in critical condition. Rescue teams were also present at the scene to assist the injured boy off the train's roof.
According to police reports, the incident occurred yesterday evening, March 9, near the railway station on Baltska Road, after a passerby alerted them. Initial investigations reveal that the two boys climbed onto a stationary train and were electrocuted. A 16-year-old sustained fatal injuries, while the 13-year-old was rescued from the roof and taken to medical personnel.
"Rescue workers used a ladder and ropes to bring the injured boy down, and he was hospitalized in serious condition. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation," said the State Emergency Service.
