Celebrating the Day of Radio Technical Forces of the Armed Forces
Every year on November 30, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Radio Technical Forces of the Armed Forces.
The holiday was established on September 16, 2010, by the order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, recognizing the crucial role of radio technical troops in the country's security.
Radio technical forces perform vital functions related to monitoring the airspace and providing timely information about potential threats.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, emphasized that thanks to these troops, Ukrainians receive timely alerts about air danger.
“On November 30, we celebrate the Day of Radio Technical Forces, who ensure the detection of air threats and the transmission of data for the air defense system,” he stated.
According to him, it is the servicemen of the radio technical forces who provide timely warnings for the population.
“Dear soldiers! Your work may be unnoticed by many, but it is crucial for those who make decisions,” Syrskyi noted.
He also highlighted that during the full-scale invasion of Russian forces, radio technicians managed to maintain the management system and provide necessary information to the air forces.
“I congratulate you on your professional holiday. I wish you health and peaceful skies. We remember those who fell while performing their duties,” he added.
