New Financial Aid Program for Ukrainians
A new initiative called "Winter Support" has been launched today, allowing all citizens of Ukraine residing within the country to apply for a one-time financial assistance of 1000 UAH. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on Telegram.
"We are launching a new presidential program "Winter Support" that will provide opportunities and services to help Ukrainians during the winter season," she stated.
Starting from November 15, applications can be submitted through the "Dii" app.
"After submitting, you will receive confirmation of your application processing and payment order. Funds will be credited to the "National Cashback" card. The application deadline is until December 24, 2025," the message noted.
Funds can be used for payment of utilities, purchase of medicines, food, books, as well as for charitable contributions or postal services.
They must be used by June 30, 2026.
Funds can be received through "Ukrposhta" starting from November 18, Svyrydenko reports. Pensioners and recipients of social benefits will automatically receive 1000 UAH to the special account where their pension or assistance is credited.
The funds can be used until December 25 for the purchase of Ukrainian-made products sold by JSC "Ukrposhta" and for payment of services provided through Ukrposhta branches, including postal services, utility payments, and donations to the Defense Forces.
"This initiative is part of a comprehensive package of solutions being implemented by the Government at the request of the president to support people during a challenging winter period in the context of a full-scale war," Svyrydenko emphasized.
