Tragedy in Odesa: Two Poisoning Incidents from Carbon Monoxide

In the Odesa region, a tragic incident occurred where two women were hospitalized due to carbon monoxide poisoning, and a man lost his life. This was reported on October 19 by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odesa.
According to rescuers, the event took place on October 18 in the city of Ananyiv in the Podilskyi district. The two women, born in 1973 and 1979, were admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Additionally, the body of a man born in 1970 was found showing signs of poisoning.
During the inspection of the living space where the victims resided, rescuers found no signs of fire or burning. Preliminary reports suggest that the poisoning was caused by a carbon monoxide leak due to poor draft in the heating stove, as stated by the State Emergency Service.
