Storm warning: Significant rain is expected in the next 1-2 hours and will continue until the end of the day.
The Odesa city administration reminds residents and visitors to be vigilant regarding weather changes, to exercise caution, and to limit movement during adverse weather conditions, particularly for the elderly, children, and pregnant women. Caution is advised when moving under trees due to the risk of falling branches and cables from strong gusty winds and rain.
Please do not leave vehicles under trees, power lines, or on storm drains.
The danger of being in the beach zone is exceedingly high. The storm in the Black Sea increases the risk of naval mines. There is a significant likelihood of mines breaking loose from their anchors and drifting ashore, as well as drifting along the coast. The uncontrolled detonation of a mine is also a possibility, especially in stormy weather. If you spot a naval mine (or items resembling one), do not touch it. Immediately report it by calling 102.
