Search Operations Concluded in Odesa After Severe Weather

In Odesa, rescuers have completed search operations after the severe weather incident. Unfortunately, 10 people lost their lives, while over 380 residents were rescued. This information was shared on Telegram by the Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine, Oleksii Kuleba.
"The search operations are now complete. We have lost 10 lives, but over 380 individuals have been saved," Kuleba stated.
He further clarified that emergency recovery efforts are ongoing. Water has been pumped out at more than 60 sites, and infrastructure is being prepared for further restoration. About 30 sites are still in progress.
The most water accumulation has occurred in underground parking lots, from which over 15,000 cubic meters have already been extracted.
Additionally, 40 out of 42 flooded shelters have been cleared.
According to Kuleba, commissions are beginning to assess housing for future compensation, as well as a commission to investigate the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
A "hotline" for citizens has been established at the unified center 15-35. An additional line 15-01 has been added. Over 500 calls have already been received on the "hotlines" and emergency services yesterday and today.
Due to the storm and the recent Russian shelling, 46,000 subscribers in Odesa are currently without electricity. Energy workers and rescuers are working under challenging conditions to restore power as quickly as possible. Water and gas supply in the city and region are operating normally.
Preparations are underway for 161 resilience points where people can charge devices and warm up.
