Search for Missing Boy Continues in Chornomorsk
The search operation for a boy who disappeared while swimming in the sea on July 28 in Chornomorsk is still underway.
According to the press service of the State Emergency Service (SES) of the Odesa region, rescuers have surveyed 1,909,300 m² of the seabed (including 82,000 m² using an underwater drone) and 1,136 km of coastline.
It is reported that the boy was swimming near Beach Street when he suddenly vanished from sight. Due to strong winds and high waves, divers could not commence the search on the same day. Rescuers began their search for the missing boy on the morning of July 29, as soon as the weather conditions allowed.
