Revamping the M15 Highway: A Collaboration with the World Bank
The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine has announced the initiation of its first pilot project in partnership with the World Bank under the Ukraine Project Preparation Framework (Ukraine PPF). This project focuses on the renovation of the M15 highway connecting Odesa and Reni.
According to the ministry's press service, the plan encompasses a comprehensive renovation and construction of various sections and elements of the M-15 highway.
Key activities include the construction of a bridge over the Dniester River in the village of Mayaky, the creation of interchanges at the M-28 / M-14 intersections, and the establishment of numerous other structures and kilometers of roads.
"The implementation of this project will significantly enhance the capacity, safety, and economic potential of Ukraine's southern transport corridor," the press service stated.
Reminder:
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the procedure for utilizing funds from the State Regional Development Fund (SRDF) for 2025. This year, 1 billion hryvnias has been allocated for the SRDF in the state budget.
