Temporary Closure of Palanca – Mayaki – Udobno Checkpoint
The Palanca – Mayaki – Udobno checkpoint is temporarily closed due to ongoing investigative actions.
This was reported by the Border Police of Moldova.
They stated that an item posing «a certain threat to security» was discovered in the luggage of a Moldovan citizen traveling on a bus regularly running the Chisinau – Odessa route. Specialized teams are currently at the scene. Travelers who planned to cross through this checkpoint are advised to allow extra time for crossing and to use the alternative route via the Tudora checkpoint. Further information will be provided once the measures are completed.
