Ban on Catching River Crayfish in Odesa Region
From August 15 to September 30, a ban on the catching of river crayfish will be enforced in the Odesa region due to their second molting. This measure aims to protect the population of these aquatic creatures.
This information was reported by the press service of the Odesa Fishery Protection Patrol.
During the ban, illegal catching of crayfish can lead to administrative or criminal liability, and offenders may be required to compensate for damages — 3,332 hryvnias for each illegally caught crayfish.
