Street Lighting System Upgrade in Odesa
The municipal enterprise «Odesmisksvitlo» has successfully completed the work on the street lighting system on Fontanska Road, 18 in Odesa.
The electricians installed a new pole to replace the damaged one due to a traffic accident. The process included the dismantling of the damaged pole and the installation of a new one, along with the connection of a light fixture and cable.
Replacing poles is a labor-intensive process that requires special equipment (such as a crane).
Since the beginning of the year, specialists have replaced 23 damaged poles, 10 of which were due to traffic incidents.
Odesmisksvitlo regularly conducts repair work on street lighting throughout the city, including parks and squares, and addresses emergency situations.
Routine inspections of street lighting assets (poles, distribution cabinets, fixtures, etc.) are carried out to identify malfunctioning or damaged components as well as acts of vandalism.
Electricians also perform tasks such as re-cabling, replacing outdated fixtures and brackets, trimming tree branches, and addressing emergency issues.
