Major Fires in Odessa: Heroes of the Rescue
Multiple districts in Odessa are currently facing wildfires involving dry vegetation and reeds. One of the major blazes occurred today in the Peresyp area on irrigation fields.
This has been reported by the State Emergency Service.
The fire has been extinguished over an area of 1.5 hectares, utilizing the swamping method and firefighting backpacks.
Rescuers are making every effort to prevent the fire from spreading to a larger area.
A total of 4 units of equipment and 18 firefighters have been deployed by the emergency service.
