New Ticket Verification Rules by Ukrzaliznytsia
Starting from August 1, Ukrzaliznytsia has made it mandatory to verify through Diia.Signature when purchasing tickets for three domestic trains.
This information comes from the press service of the company.
According to the company, this decision was made in response to passenger complaints and feedback.
Verification will be required for ticket purchases on the following routes:
- №29/30 Kyiv – Uzhhorod,
- №12 Lviv – Odesa,
- №27/28 Kyiv – Chop.
Thus, trains №105/106 Odesa – Kyiv and №91/92 Lviv – Kyiv have been removed from the previous list.
The company also explained that to buy or return tickets for these trains, passengers will need to verify their account in the Ukrzaliznytsia app.
To ensure access to tickets for passengers without new-style passports, ticket sales will also be available at several ticket offices:
- Chop (ticket office №2);
- Uzhhorod (ticket office №2);
- Lviv (ticket office №1);
- Odesa (ticket offices №14 and №2);
- Kyiv (ticket offices №21 and 22).
We are closely monitoring the results of this pilot initiative to determine whether to expand this practice to other routes, the company stated.
