Fire Incident in Odesa: Swift Response from Emergency Services
In the Peresyp district of Odesa, along the Khadzhybey road, a fire erupted involving reeds, dry grass, tires, and trash in several spots.
The challenge was the rapid spread of flames fueled by combustible materials, high ambient temperatures, and lack of access routes.
The fire was brought under control over an area of approximately 12 hectares.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
A total of 8 units of equipment and 30 firefighters from the State Emergency Service were involved, along with 1 unit of equipment and 3 personnel from the municipal «Rescue and Diving Service», and 1 unit of equipment with 4 personnel from the National Guard of Ukraine.
