Major Fire Breaks Out in Svitlyi: Abandoned Structures Engulfed
A major fire broke out in the village of Svitlyi in the Odesa region, engulfing abandoned buildings and dry vegetation nearby.
This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region on Sunday, July 13.

According to their information, four wooden abandoned agricultural buildings caught fire. The area of the blaze was 120 square meters.
In addition to the buildings, the fire spread to the dry grass, burning approximately one thousand square meters.
How Many Rescuers Were Involved
Rescuers arrived at the scene. The State Emergency Service dispatched 3 units of equipment and 13 firefighters.
The fire was extinguished without allowing the flames to spread to residential houses. There were no casualties.
Preliminary reports suggest that the fire was caused by careless handling of fire by an unidentified individual.
