Drone Technology for Fire Prevention in the Odessa Region
In the Odessa region, rescue teams are increasingly using drones for aerial monitoring. This modern approach helps prevent fires and improve firefighting strategies. Additionally, drones are utilized to identify arsonists.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
"The number of fires in open areas is rising daily. According to the South-Western Environmental Inspection, damages from fires in Odessa's ecosystems exceeded 24 billion hryvnias in 2025. To respond promptly, rescuers are employing drones for monitoring," the statement reads.
