Warning About Fraudulent Schemes in Odesa Region
The Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Odesa region alerts local entrepreneurs about instances of receiving fake letters allegedly sent by the Deputy Head of the Tax Service. These letters claim to offer financial assistance of 150,000 UAH for purchasing military supplies.
The tax service is not connected to these communications. Their aim is to deceive businesses and discredit the tax authority.
IMPORTANT! All actions of officials from the Main Department of the Tax Service in the Odesa region strictly adhere to legislation, and they have no relation to such mailings.
The Southern Department of the Anti-Corruption Unit has already contacted law enforcement regarding these fraudulent activities.
We urge all taxpayers to remain vigilant, not to trust dubious offers, carefully verify information, avoid provocations, and under no circumstances transfer funds.
If you receive such a message, please immediately contact law enforcement at 102 or inform the Southern Department of the Anti-Corruption Unit at the following numbers: (048) 707 29 43, (048) 707 28 54, (048) 725 65 05, or call the "Pulse" service of the State Tax Service of Ukraine at 0 800 501 007, providing any possible information about the fraudsters.
