Fire Breaks Out in Bereziv District: Woman Injured While Extinguishing
A fire erupted in the Bereziv district of Odesa region on the grounds of an abandoned private house. A woman sustained injuries while attempting to extinguish the flames herself. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
The incident took place yesterday, June 25, in the village of Kozlove. On Hryhoriy Skovoroda Street, dry grass and shrubs were engulfed in flames on the premises of the deserted property. Firefighters worked alongside the local fire brigade to contain the blaze. During the firefighting attempt, a 77-year-old woman suffered burns on her right leg.
"The fire was extinguished over an area of 0.05 hectares. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and no damage has been reported. The State Emergency Service dispatched 1 unit of equipment and 5 rescuers, while the local fire brigade contributed 1 unit of equipment and 2 personnel", - stated the report.
