Extra Train Services to Odesa for Summer 2023
This summer, Ukrainian Railways has announced the launch of additional train services to Odesa, aiming to provide comfortable travel to this popular resort city. Extra trains will operate throughout June and July.
This decision is intended to facilitate travel for tourists and business travelers heading to the pearl of the Black Sea. This was reported by JSC "Ukrainian Railways".
Train Schedule to Odesa
Kyiv — Odesa: train No. 265/266 will run on June 27, 28, 29, and 30. This route is traditionally one of the most popular among Ukrainians, especially during the summer season.
Lviv — Odesa: train No. 168/167 will depart from Lviv and Odesa on June 27, 29, and also on July 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, and 20. This route connects the western tourist center with the country’s main seaside resort.
The designated trains will feature compartment cars with seating. Some of the cars will be equipped with air conditioning.
"These are comfortable and spacious compartment cars with air conditioning, but they will not be available in sleeping format," explained Ukrainian Railways.
When choosing seats, it's important to note that odd-numbered seats are next to the window, while even-numbered ones are closer to the compartment doors. Tickets for the additional trains to Odesa will be available soon. Passengers can conveniently purchase them online through the official Ukrainian Railways website, the mobile app, or at train station ticket offices.
In addition to the Odesa routes, Ukrainian Railways has also scheduled extra services between Kyiv and Lviv (train No. 291/292) and Kyiv and Truskavets (train No. 159/160) for the summer period to meet the growing demand for travel to the seaside.
