Renovation of Berths in the Port of Reni: New Horizons
The port of Reni in Odesa region is undergoing renovation of four berths, specifically No. 15, No. 23, No. 26, and No. 27.
The Reni branch of the State Enterprise «Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority» has signed a contract worth 12.1 million UAH with a contractor selected through open tenders in the Prozorro system.
This renovation is essential due to significant wear and tear of the berths, many of which have been in operation since the 1960s. Technical inspections conducted in 2024 revealed numerous defects, including cracks and corrosion, posing risks to the safety of port operations.
The project includes strengthening the structures, replacing damaged elements, updating mooring bollards and ramps, as well as installing new protective devices.
The work is being carried out without interrupting port activities and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
