Enhanced Accessibility Features in My Kyivstar App
Kyivstar has launched an updated version of the My Kyivstar mobile app, now fully adapted for users with visual impairments. With new features supporting TalkBack for Android and VoiceOver for iOS, accessing services has become even easier.
To create a truly inclusive interface, Kyivstar's team conducted a thorough adaptation, including proper element narration, adding text descriptions to graphics, and implementing voice prompts for various controls such as switches, checkboxes, and buttons. This allows users to receive crucial information for better interface comprehension.
The quality of the adaptation has been validated by an independent assessment from Access Lab, which specializes in digital accessibility. Their recommendations have already been partially implemented in the new version of the app.
This update also highlights Kyivstar's conscious approach to digital inclusion, as it aligns with the European Accessibility Act standards.
Now, users with visual impairments can independently manage their telecommunication services: topping up their accounts, checking balances, and connecting home Internet and other services.
