Fire in Odessa: Woman Injured Due to Electrical Short Circuit
A fire occurred in an apartment building in Odessa, triggered by an electrical short circuit in the boiler. The flames spread over 50 square meters. As a result of the incident, a woman was injured.
According to the State Emergency Service, last evening, June 7, a fire broke out in the Primorsky district, affecting an apartment on the 3rd floor of a 5-story residential building.
"The fire was extinguished over an area of 50 square meters. A woman born in 1961 sustained injuries and was taken to a medical facility in moderate condition. The likely cause of the fire is a malfunctioning electrical system in the boiler.
The extent of damage is being assessed. Six units of equipment and 26 rescuers were involved in the firefighting efforts," the statement said.
