Visit of the Polish Delegation to Odessa
The Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov, met with Piotr Lukaszewicz, the Chargé d'Affaires of Poland in Ukraine.
The Polish delegation is in Odessa as part of the Black Sea Security Forum, which serves as a platform for international discussions on security in the region.
Mr. Lukaszewicz noted that this is his first visit to Odessa, and he was deeply impressed by the city’s spirit, its rich history, culture, and the resilience of its residents during these challenging times.
Also present at the meeting was the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Odessa, Jacek Gocłowski.
The participants discussed the current situation in Ukraine and Poland, as well as the importance of preserving historical memory.
Additionally, they explored prospects for enhancing economic and cultural cooperation, including the possibility of organizing a Polish culture festival in Odessa.
